APA Citing Format

The format of the APA citations list itself is quite simple. As shown in the sample Word documents, an APA-style reference list begins on a new page titled "References" and each item is double-spaced with a hanging indent. (Note that double-spacing is a publishing requirement; academic institutions may require single spacing.)
