MLA Citations

The format of the MLA citations list itself is quite simple. As shown in the sample Word documents, the reference list begins on a new page titled "Works Cited" and each item is double-spaced with a hanging indent. (Note that double-spacing is required for work intended for publication; academic institutions may require single spacing.)
